Welcome to the Alkali with Preesall Angling Club.

We are always looking for photographs of the fish that you catch, wether they are ranging from just small fish right up to the larger fish that we have in the waters, so please take your camera or mobile phone (most have camera's on these days) as any and all pictures are appreiciated.

This in turn helps us to put your catches in the gallery and provides content for the web site, ie no content would leed to no website to promote the Angling Club, so your help is most appreiciated

Rod Licences

Any Angler aged 12 years or over, fishing for Salmon, Trout, Freshwater Fish or Eels in England (except the River Tweed), Wales or the border Esk and it Tributaries in Scotland must have an Environment Agency Rod Licence.

Money from the sale of licences helps to fund the work to manage fisheries, if you are caught without one, you are cheating other anglers and could be fined £2,500.

• You have a Blue Badge parking concession or are in reciept of Disability Living Allowence
• Welsh/English bilingual licences

Important Notice

• Remember - If you're coarse fishing with 3 or 4 rods, you'll need 2 licences
• Children under 12 years of age do not require a Rod Licence
• Full and Concessionary Licences expire on 31st March
• Failure to provide a valid EA rod licence will result in prosecution (Max fine £2,500.)
