Club Rules
1. Subscription must be paid by 1st.March.
2. Club to be ruled by a committee.
3. All members must adhere to Club Rules
4. Fishing Times. 1st May to 31st August 4.00am until 11.00pm.
1st Sept to 30th April dawn to dusk only.
5. Any members removing fish from the Club Waters will be expelled from the Club.
6. Members discarding or leaving litter, especially tin cans, plastic bags or fishing lines will be disciplined.
7. Propositions or amendments to club rules to be put in writing to Secretary 14 days before A.G.M.
8. Members are restricted to 2 rods only except for pike and carp fishing between 1st November to the last day of February, when 3 rods will be allowed. Members are restricted to fishing from a single peg.
9. Proof of membership must be produced on request or the person will be asked to leave the Club Waters.
10. The holder of this card is authorised to challenge any trespasser found on Club waters.
11. Transfer of members cards to any other person is strictly forbidden, any member so doing will be expelled from the Club.
12. Committee meeting to be held monthly.
13. All club trophies must be returned to the club Secretary one month before next A.G.M.
14. Radios are banned on Club Waters.
15. No fishing in the Alkali Stock Pond except under the written authority of the committee.
16. All dogs owned by members must be on a lead whilst accompanying the member, fishing or walking club waters.
17. NRA Licence to be held by all Alkali AC members.
18. All members must sign the indemnity clause when joining the Club.
19. No ‘Tilley’ type lamps or powerful lights are to be used on the club waters at any time.
20. All pegs must be vacated 1 hour prior to all club matches.
21. All fish to be returned alive to the water.
22. Fish deaths must be reported to Secretary or Treasurer.
23. No fish should be taken away alive or dead without the express permission of the club ; to do so may give rise to a civil prosecution under Schedule 1 Section 2 of the Theft Act.
24. No livebaiting allowed – Dead baiting will be permitted as long as any baits are sourced outside club waters and brought in frozen.
Special Notices
1. Members fish on the Alkali Waters at their own risk.
2. When arriving or leaving the Alkali Waters please do not cause any undue noise and observe respect for the surrounding neighbourhood.
3. Owing to the high cost of fish please handle with care at all times, and don’t leave fish in keepnet too long.
4. Under extenuating circumstances the committee reserves the right to withdraw the membership of any member.
5. To protect fish supplies please ensure all nets are dried out prior to fishing the club waters.
6. Take care around club waters, deep water and no swimming.
7. Junior members under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult
8. Members may take any junior to pleasure fish club waters.
